GAPPY – New Commodore 64 Game (2026) 
Move the World, Not the Player

GAPPY is a brand-new arcade game for the Commodore 64, written entirely in 6502 assembly.

You don't control the ball. You control the world.

The ball falls on its own: slide the platforms left and right so it drops through the gaps, collect stars and coins, and reach the finish line before time runs out – while a ceiling of spikes keeps pushing down from above.

🎮 GAME MODES

• ENDLESS – one endless descent. Clocks give you extra time, and make the world a little meaner.

• QUEST – 30 levels, from gentle to brutal, with 3 hidden stars in each. Every fifth level is a special stage: NARROWS, SPIKE RAIN, THE SHAFT, ICE, RUN FOR IT – and the FINAL.

• Real Commodore 64 (1541 floppy, SD2IEC, Ultimate 1541…)

• Any C64 emulator (VICE and others)

• PAL and NTSC, detected automatically

Progress and high scores are saved to disk.

Joystick in port 2 – or keyboard: A / D to slide the world, SPACE for fire.
